Fastest my vehicle has been is 152 but, that wasn't in my truck. 
The fastest I've had my F100 is about 80 MPH --and that was with the tired 240 laboring pretty hard. It's happiest at 60-65 MPH.

I got my old truck over 100mph before but that was a 2wd. Unless there's some good modifications I wouldn't feel safe doing it at all though. Once to see what it'd do and that was good for me. The original posters asking about a 4x4 they are pushing it at highway speeds depending on the gearing. Those 4.10's and Granny are creeper gears great for pulling stuff.

My 460/C6 w/ 3.25 gears has scared me a few times. My friends ask, "How fast will it go?" I tell them, "I run out of ballz before the truck does!" In a couple of not-to smart moments I've run against some friends on the highway, who later told me that when their newer vehicles top-speed limiter kicked in at 180 kph (112mph) that I was still pulling away from them. I had a buddy with me one of those times, and I think his finger nail imprints are still in my dash pad. Not too bright, I must admit. I haven't done that in many years.....
