Hello: What I'm trying to find is that small piece of pipe that's pressed in into the front if the intake manifold that connects to the bypass from the water pump. I have been to the usual places and had no luck. It is incredible that this little thing is holding my build. Had the old 390 bored .040 over, an RV Comp cam, Edelbrock 1406 and an intake from a 1965 T-Bird that I came across for $100. But this thing is keeping me from getting the engine in. Please help!
Do you have the intake out of the car still?
If so then take it to an auto machine shop and have another one made and pressed in.
Another option might be to contact Edelbrock and see if they can supply one. NumberDummy is the resident parts guru extraordinaire. If he can't find original, it probably doesn't exist.
