Assuming you have a 2006 truck, which means the EBP sensor sits directly below the coolant degas bottle, the question becomes how did coolant make its way there? Is your degas bottle venting coolant from the cap? I have also seen coolant venting onto the air filter restrictor gauge before as well, causing a false restricted air filter minder message to appear before too, if it helps.

Recently replaced my degas bottle for a leak in that same area. Had a hairline crack, it would only leak sometimes and couldn't see it until I removed it. I thought it was the return hose leaking and replaced that first. The only evidence of the leak was dried coolant sprayed in that area. Then one day I had a huge puddle in the driveway. Lucky I had bought a new bottle and swapped it out.

Before the puddle, the amount of coolant lost was not measurable by eyeballing the bottle, I just saw residue and new it was leaking from somewhere.

Might be worth taking a close look at if your cap and top of bottle turns out to be residue free

One more picture in a thread already too full of pictures...

I've been using the "min" level as the "full" level for a few years now, so it wasn't overfilled. This truck has always puked a bit when worked hard, you can see white residue after a tough pull, but otherwise it's fine. I routinely tow 10,000 - 15,000lbs with this truck, and it does great. Just returned from a 10 hr, viscious tow bringing my son-in-laws dead Dodge home from the rig he was working on. The tow back was down the QE2 or #2 highway that goes from the Montana border up to Edmonton and beyond. I've driven most every freeway in Southern California, and none of them have anything on this highway. Speed limit is 110km/hr, and you'd better be cowering in the slow lane if you do that. So any white residue you see in the picture was from that 120-140km/hr in the dark, white knuckle tow.
Anyways, here is the crack the coolant was dripping from, couldn't have positioned it any better above the ebp sensor. Just put a new tank on, got bent over for $140 for it, but I'm not messing around with used stuff.

Once again, thanks for the help guys. I'm out in the shop, on my AE equipped laptop (which also has internet capabilities) getting ready to change oil and coolant filter. Ready for another year of trouble free motoring!
I'm allowed to rep you billbot, so I did.
