new to this

i have a 2005 f350 6.l diesel. park lights stay on when headlights r shut off,tried fuses and relays,disconnected headlight switch,still on.only to get them off is disconnect battery.turn lights on and again parks won't shut off.thinking it might b the vsm.anyone have any insight on it thx

Are you the original owner?

When you hit the lock button on the key fob, do the park lights go out?

no key fob ,not original owner

How long have you had the truck and is this a recent change to the way the lights work? Have you seen how long the lights will stay on? I had my 2007 set to keep the lights on for 3 minutes after I got out. Three minutes was the longest setting as I recall.
