1975 ford crew cab 2wd to 4wd!!!

I didn't see it, but supposedly there was a guy here in town that converted a 74 crewcab 2wd to 4wd by bolting on highboy running gear to 2wd frame. I assume that means spring hangers, axles and transfer case. said they only had to drill 2 holes. I assumed they used highboy transmission as well. i assume the used 2wd rear axle and springs. no reason to change them. Highboy spring perches be too narrow.

By your question there is much more homework on your end to do. What research have you actually done?
Can you fabricate and have the tools, facilities, time, and money?
Then take a systems approach: Suspension, steering, brakes, drivetrain (T-case, axles, driveshafts).
