Pro comp springs?

I am on the fence as what direction to go with my Ex. I have been looking at the Pro comp 22410 for the front and 22415 for the rears? Any one run these or this set up? I will be doing some off roading nothing real serious. More when hunting and off road camping with family. Also some towing of trailers car/ equipment trailers and 30ft travel trailer. Which shocks would everyone recommend. Thank you for any information and suggestions.

I run that set up with Ranch 9000 shocks and no rear blocks. Been happy with it. I tow a 8x18 enclosed car trailer and a 31ft Jayco travel trailer and have had no problems. Gained about 5"s over stock height and run 285 Bfg AT's.

Thanks Matt I appreciate your response. What length shock are they for 5" or 6" lift? Also does it sit level I was thinking of running my stock blocks in rear. Is the crappy ride gone with this set up, mine is terrible if I hit bump in curves. I can't take it any more and really don't have the funds but it's getting worse. Thanks again

I am running those springs with no blocks and Rancho 9000 shocks, stance is in my signature picture. Good amount of lift, you need longer shocks and I would go with Ranchos. I tried a shorter shock KYB at first and it road like a dump truck because shock was too short. Those springs can tow anything you put behind the ex, I believe they have a higher spring rating than the V/B mod you see on many excursions.

Thank you Matt & Sammy for information. I might just sell my X codes then go this route. I can't find any B or C codesin my area. I'll have to decide hear in next few days. Price everything out & go from there. Thanks again for all your help.

One more quick question, any drive line issues with using these springs as far lengthing drive shaft or binding of u-joints. I thought I read some where that you can go 6" of lift with out drive line modifications.

I've had no driveline issue with this set up.

I'm considering Pro Comp too, but I think people are using 22210 with 22415 and no blocks. 22410, I think, will be front high, unless you keep your stock blocks with the 22415. Those of you that have done it, please confirm.

I checked my notes and I actually have the 22210 for the front and 22415 in the rear so you are correct. I didn't notice it being 22410 and just it was 222 for some reason. I'm not familiar with the other set up then that was originally posted.

The 22410 springs actually give the Excursion's 6" in the front. That's why I was thinking of using the rear blocks.

I misread your original post. Looking at part numbers when your tired isn't good. I'm not familiar with that set up but I quests as long as you got the correct size block for the rear it should be fine.

Ditto - Matt and I must be on the same drug because I misread that as well. I have 22210 in the front not the 22410 and they are about 4" of lift.

I haven't heard of anyone using the 22410 on an Excursion. I haven't measured my truck since the spring swap but right afterwards I had gained 5" over stock and its sits level. I was glad I didn't have to mess around with different size blocks to get it level.

Ps. Thanks Sammie for sharing those drugs.

Every where I looked at specs for the 22410 states 4" of lift on super duty f250-f350's and 6" of lift on the excursions. So I figured those in front to get 6" front and the 22415 and blocks should get 6" in rear maybe more. If all else falls could get a 1" block to replace 2" stock block to make it level. If I can scrape together enough cash to do it before winter I'll post results.
