trail cams
I'm thinking about a new trail cam. I've got a moultrie m80xd that worked fine for a little over a year. Now, it suddenly thinks that the SD cards are locked. I tried a new one, but no go. I've also tried resets and battery removal, but no help. And no, the little switch isn't on 'lock'.
Any thoughts, either on a trail cam or ways to fix this one? I emailed moultrie for suggestions. They suggested that I send it in, and they'd fix it or offer me a 'deal' on a replacement. ( I was not impressed).
The m80 cost around $100 -- I don't really want to spend a lot more than that for a replacement.
Thanks,
hj

I literally just spent like 3 weeks researching and looking for a new trail cam. and I went with this. It's the Browning Recon Force. This was Brownings first year of ever making a trial cam. They introduced 3. The Ranger, Recon Force and Spec Ops.
Recon Force is better than the Ranger, but the Spec Ops only feature that makes it better than the Recon Force is the LCD screed to see where your cam is pointing.
Ranger is $95-110
Recon is $110-135
Spec Ops is $155-200
I have it up right now and it has been getting pics and video of a Black bear we have as well as a few Foxes. Highly suggest looking into it
