Question 79 Tailgate latch

So I bought another bronco this week, a 79 this time to replace the worn out 82. Amazing deal, only 1800 with 99200 original miles by one owner, even have the original invoice slip. Anyways, the drivers side tailgate latch has seen its better days and refuses to stay closed. I pulled it out and one of the arms for the lock mechanism was bent. Tryed to bend it back, but it still refuses to work. I have been trying to track one down and am having a difficult time. Any thoughts on where to find one, or the price to expect for a new or refubished one? Thanks for the help.

79 Tailgate latch

Well, after searching the web and a few phone calls, I found one...actually three. Seems that ford decided to discontinue that part, and even JBG doesn't have them. I called one dealer here in west michigan and him search nation wide and found one dealer in b.f.e. that had them on the shelf. Lucky me!!! For those with a similar situation, there is a place that has used, refurbished ones for around $45, not to far from the new price I got. Give them a look on the web. Company name is 4X4 Monster Garage Inc.
