Here's the oil burner... 79 Short Bed with a 6.9 diesel. Flat black til next summer, still needs more body work but the rust is pretty much gone and replaced with fresh metal.

Thanks, Joe. Those grille guards were common on dentsides around here when they were new. Usually they were dealer installed, but they could be bought at various stores and self-installed. The one on my F-150 came on my late brother's '79 F-150 and I bought it from him when he sold the pick-up years ago.
