Door window track belting
To ye that know,
1987 F150 regular cab
Where is a good (& cheap) place to buy replacement weatherstrip/belting for the door window tracks?
I have not yet priced it at my local Ford dealer.

Check the store here first, but if they don't have it, try BroncoGraveyard or JCWhitney .

Has anyone tried the window channel kits from JCWhitney?
They have 2 different styles & was curious how well they worked.

I installed the more expensive JC Whitney kit on my '87 2 years ago, and I've been impressed so far. I couldn't tell a difference between the JC Whitney and the Ford parts.

Which kit from JCW did you use?
In the 2 I was asking about one was for one window & the other was for both windows thus making them about the same price. Or were you talking about the kit which contains ALL of the door w-stripping & channels.

I used the 2-window kit. While I was at it, I installed the belt weatherstrip kit ($50). It's the strip that runs along the bottom edge of the window opening. Removing the old belt weatherstrip first allows you to see the window channels inside the door.
Be patient when installing the new ones, and use lots of soapy water to slide them into the metal channels. It can be frustrating
