Anyone no exactly the best way to do this and also positives to it and negatives... I would like to hear more turbo and I heard this and shorter exhaust isn't a bad idea. Thanks yall
use a utility knife to "skin", like you would an animal, the foil off the pipe and then i used paint stripper and a wire brush to get the rest of the glue off. there only downside to it is if you get sick of hearing the whistle lol other than that the plus side is more whistle, and i think it looks cleaner in the engine without the foil on there. you can always paint em or polish em either looks good in my opinion!
Not sure I heard a difference, but liked the cleaner look in the engine area. x2 on the above method, and scotchbrite works pretty well as a final cleanup.
I did mine. Skinned it with a knife, power washed as much as possible off, then used a wire wheel on a cordless drill. Definitely looks cleaner. I heard a little difference there and then a little more when I put a 6637 air filter in. Personally I like it, but it may get annoying after 14 hrs of snowplowing... When I really notice it is after getting out of my dump truck that doesn't have those mods, into my flatbed that does.

I used VHT high temp paint but it scratched and chipped very easily which is the reason I just polsihed them
