Need more pics of what the cluster looks like and from behind to get more ideas of what I'd try to do.

Still, it'd be almost better to build your own than try to fab that one in in the long run. I'm not saying you can't do it or don't do it but I think the hassle of modding that one in and making it look good vs. building your own would be way harder and for the more experienced people to tackle which is why there's so little information on the subject.

You could possibly model it from a 1979 F600 dash.

Wow....I love the gauge color.

From your first post, which is vague, I wasn't sure if you were asking what could be done or getting ideas of what to do. I take it you're wanting to try this or are you positive you are going to do this and are asking about the arraignment of gauges and what not?? Kinda missing what's going on with the popcorn eatin' people here. I'd like to see what someone could do with something like that and I'd think it's a cool idea but it takes a lot of time and knowledge to get things to look like they are supposed to be there. Many take the time and money only to find out they can't finish the details and though functional it still looks like crap. If you have the skills and are planning on trying to do this, then say so or ask questions if you are wanting to try this and are asking for help.

dashes

I have to get a wiring harness from centech anyway,so they can fab your setup for the autometer guages, individually,,I know the f600 fits the bump dash, just going to play around with the dent dash, unless I can come up with a bump dash.

When I was rebuilding my interior (still a work in progress) I thought about grafting in a bump side dash just for the ability to make custom gauges work but then I decided I liked the extra area afforded by the dent side dash. I also decided I wanted a dvd/nav style stereo. This led me to the conclusion that it's time to build my own dash because the nav system with flip out screen needed to be above the heater controls so when the screen was out it didn't block them...

Here is what I ended up with. I build an oven and a female steel mold to vacuum form a 1/8" ABS dash insert with a 1/4" ABS bump out to get depth and room for the stereo.

It's not quite done yet, the screws need to be countersunk and I think I got the stereo bump out got too hot when forming because it now has a shiny look to it that is different than the dash.

First pic is testing the stereo depth, second pick is everything installed.

If you just install the whole bump outer dash (assuming it fits) do you think the bump heater controls would work with the dent heater box? AC would be a whole other issue!

If my memory is correct the gauges should at least fit within the hole in the dent dash or it's gotta be really close. Then it's just a matter of filling the space but doing it really cool.

I say do 3 different mock ups and then let us vote for our favorite one.

JK... I must be in a good mood which is NOT normal.
