Rusted Front Axle U-Joints
Hey guys... I have my front axles out to replace the U-Joints but they are rusted in there. Even the C-Clip is fused/rusted in place.
I use my flat wheel grinder and ground out the C-Clips but the U-Joint caps wont budge. Been soaking in penetrating oil too.
Any ideas other than drilling them out?

They are normally very hard and don't drill nice. I start with a punch and break the middle of them out and then start to break them out a little at a time.
The joint itself can normally be cut or ground out to get out of the way to get the caps out.
