The same coat that takes the lace trim around the buttons has 75 dollars worth of buttons on it. We had to have the buttons custom made for it. Nobody makes them any more.

I believe every hobby costs if one really gets into it. My hobby is woodworking. The tools are not cheap and the better ones are bought online. Wood is not cheap so there are no mistakes.

I have never had a chance to shoot a black powder gun before. I would love to though. I do love shooting modern ones.

I love it Ron. I shoot flintlock muskets. They are smoothbore. MY oldest one is a reproduction Charleville in .69 caliber. My newest one ( only about 2 years old now) is a reproduction first model Brown Bess. It is .75 caliber. I shoot undersized musket ***** out of them. For the .69 caliber I shoot a .678 caliber ball weighing 480 grains. For the .75 I shoot a .72 caliber lead ball weighing in at 550 grains.

Mine is the car hobby. I love being around them talking about them. Wouldn't mind working on a project of my own again. Almost forgot guns. I like guns.

The weights listed dont account for the 75 grains of double f black powder that I use as the powder charge.
