Warning - Warning!
Just picked up my new company truck -
A brand spanking new Black '13' STX Scab!
What a sharp truck - very impressed with Ford's bang-for-the-buck on this model!
Decided I wasn't going to live with those stupid yellow warning stickers on the visors and yanked them.
Unfortunately the adhesive is more stubborn on fabric than it is on metal!
Anyone have any tricks for removing the glue residue from fabric???
Already yanked the STX stickers off the bed, removed the flex-fuel badge and any dealer stickers from the tail. Lookin clean and neat!
- also got a can of Plasti-Dip in hand for a little more tweaking

Getting ready to -
add a soft tri-fold over the bed, build a storage box for under backseats, and build an armrest/cup holder extension for that giant armrest.
What can I say - Like to make things mine!
Loving this truck!

CAVEAT - Have no personal experience removing glue residue from visor labels, however, have successfully used it to remove silicone seal residue on body panels.

Labor Day weekend weather was pretty crappy in New England, but that allowed me to get my under seat storage box & cup holder/extension built.
Also turned the Ford Blue Ovals into Black Ovals to match the truck!
I know, I know - I'll get some pics soon.
i removed my stickers and used this:
with only a modicum of success in removing the glue.
given the chance, i'd leave them in place. the glue is almost uglier than the stickers were.
i've got some pics, but they are on my phone, i'll try to upload them later.
It seemed to be the only one that mention using it to remove stains on fabric.
Decent success - A lot of the adhesive seemed to flake off - Right now I've got a very faint whiteish outline of where the stickers were, blending in pretty good with the gray interior.
Now it's probably just one of those things that'll bother me, but no else will even notice.

I'll hit it again in the next couple days, just to see if I can get it any better.
While I was at it, pulled the dash tray out to give the USB2 mod a try.
Super simple.
I had a "Mini B male to A male" cord from an old cell phone (Hope it works!), now just have to find a USB A female to female adapter for the glove box end.
Tonnue cover also due to be delivered tomorrow!
