I think it means lay the frame of the vehicle on the ground - as in use airbags so that when you let all the air out, the rockers, or "frame" are literally on the ground with the wheels tucked up so high in the wheel wells, they can't use inner fenders!

StreetProShop rear e-brake kit ordered.
Great guys down there.

Anyone have pair '56 headlight buckets laying around?
Seems I used them for off-road light kit on my Cooper.

If you still need some 56 Headlight buckets shoot me a PM. I think I have a pair in storage I'd be willing to sell.

Thank you will let you know soon.
Starting my parts list hopefully soon. Hoped go for large grab bag rather than piece mail.

Seems to be gaining traction but projects without instructions add to time/labor which equals more out-of–pocket. Spent few hours searching through forum with no success.

*Would there be anyone out here with completed C4 swap (pictures)?
Research shows all purchased parts work but we all know what life is like.
Pressure will now be on wallet & preparation for upcoming problems & direction fabricator will run into.

Thanx

I have installed a few FlatOut Engineering kits and have many photos...there are a few in my gallery that you could check out. Don McNeal has been building these kits for years, if you/your fabricator can follow directions then there should be no problem installing the kits. A word of caution...be sure that you understand your clearances BEFORE you begin the install of the IFS. The R&P sits HIGH on the C4 IFS...in a stock Corvette the R&P sits forward of the harmonic balancer so the height is not an issue. If your engine will be mounted ABOVE the R&P then be sure you have enough clearance on the oil pan/harmonic balancer. Another clearance problem I had was the big block (460) headers and the C4 upper control arms...these are all dumba$$ mistakes on my part, hopefully you can learn from them.

Sounds like a great build and you're starting out with a great body, both in looks and condition. Looking forward to your progress.

Hey 1Life! I'm collecting parts for the same build right now as well! I'll be watching your thread.

One question. How do you plan to use the Kore3 calipers? It looks like you are using the C4 front and rear suspension and I don't see any C4 brake kits listed on their site? I actually found a listing saying that they don't plan to make a C4 kit? Just curious as my plan was to use the Wilwood kit's for both the front and rear. I bought a 96 front and an 87 rear.

I would at least keep the front brakes...you could sell them on the hamb or Craigslist to someone building a hotrod.

Or keep them for that '32 ford you're gonna build next!
