Where are you from? The roll bar is coming out when I redo it. When it is all done it will be it will basically be a stock looking truck that is lifted with big tires. No more roll bar, push bar, visor, etc. etc. etc.
Send me a pm with some details such as what your thinking on $ along with your zip code and ill look into making a road trip, depends on price and fuel v/s buying a new one. May just make it the crew cabs first adventure.
Making decent progress....... So far I have got it running. Cleaned both carbs., (It has a tunnel ram with duel 600 Holleys) drained the gas tank and lines. Put 10 gallons of fresh gas in it and fired it up. Did a full tune up on it and got it running pretty good. Removed the roll bar, push bar, ladder bars and axel trusses. I am not going to put that stuff back on. I want to get it back to looking like a stock 1978 F-150 with lift and big tires. If anyone wants any of the above stuff I removed and lives close to southern N.Y. let me know and you can take a look at it. Washed it all up and cleaned the interior. It is starting to look like it used to.
