brake upgrade questions

Hey all. Well I finally got fed up with my trucks poor braking performance. So Im going to upgrade my brakes. I have a couple of questions.
1. According to the tech article the f350's master cylinder is to wide to fit on my booster right? So I was going to get a f350 booster but someone told me that the mounting bracket is different. Is this correct. Can I still use it even though it is different?
2. I am changing my rear brakes over to disc by using TSM Mfg's kit. My question is with the f350 master cylinder will it work correctly with the monte carlo calipers? They have a 2 13/32 piston diameter.
Thanks guys
Richard

These are some good questions.

You could remove your booster and compare the mounting to an F350 booster.

My F350 booster has 4 mounting studs on a 3.5" high by 3.75" wide pattern.

I don't know about the piston dia.
