Bumper interchange question

i just picked up a step bumper (non-oem) from the scrapyard over the weekend, off an 80-86 truck for my f-350 (narrow frame). it fit perfect, matched the bed cutouts and countours. all i had to do was unbolt the frame brackets and flip them around to change widths. the hitch and spring hangers get in the way of it fitting as tight as i'd like, but the f350 is kinda unique, and the hitch was a later down the road addition.
