98 exped audio

I have a 98 eb expedition, and the audio system just quit one day. It was working then we stopped, and turned the truck of got back in and no sound. Display works on radio, you can even select the cd and it will load but no sound. I have a explorer also so i have swapped parts, the radio will work in the explorer and the rcip will work in the explorer. Any help will be greatful!

Check the fuse to the amp. Since you swapped the radio into the Explorer and got sound, the only thing in the way of the sound in the expedition is the amp.
