Quick question about coil spring hardware
I'm wondering what size is the nut that holds the bottom of the front coil spring on a 86 F150, I'm planning on going to the junkyard to get the brackets under the springs, (not sure what there called) that the sway bar is attached to. If anyone knows, I would appreciate the info so I know what tools to bring with me.

On my '83 those nuts are 1 1/8".

i used a craftsman 1 1/8 wrench and a cheater pipe made to fit over the wrench.......after time those nuts become tighter than anything

Dont loose the retainer clip for the top, its a small piece but itll ruin your day.
