Grille Assembly

I was looking for the whole new grille piece for the front because the chrome was bubbling and finally peeled off in a spot and i have been wanting to get a color match one but the deal wanted 600 and it was for the whole piece that had the bars built into the out section..i was looking at the 2011 and up grille assembly and they have a piece thats just the outer edge where then i can put in an insert without cutting and sanding down anything i was curious if a 2011 outer grille piece would even fit on my 2008 because the biggest difference body wise between the 2 is the headlights and overall look of the grille..if somebody has tried or knows i would welcome advice.

I Guess the Correct term for what Im getting at is the Grille Shell because the 2011 have an option of an Empty Shell where an insert would pretty much pop right in...and since i need a new shell anyways i was wondering if a 2011's would fit on my 08

Don't think so, if you look at the bumper lines on both, they aren't the same. The 08 is straight across. The 11 the bumper dips in the middle around the bottom of the grill.

Thanks Looking at it i kinda seem that now well that answered my question so i guess ill buy the one for my truck and cut and drill and sand...*sigh* Thanks alot though
