Someone decode this rear end?

WDM-AC 2EB (??, Date?)
3.25 9 334A (ratio= 3.25, ring gear= true 9", 334A=?)

It looks like I ahve a true 9" rear end, but iweould like confirmation before I go any further.

Yes it is a 9" with 3.25 open differential. If it was limited slip there would be an L in place of the decimal like this 3L25

My axle code is 27J on the ID plate what does it mean?

27 = Dana 70, 4.10 gears, 7400# capacity

J = power steering

Where do you read this?

The 7400 lb figure is rating for that one axle.

Do you have an F350 ?

Your 9000lb figure is for the whole truck.

I am sorry Mil1ion The 9000 is from the Ford dealer and the ID plate on the door. It is the GVW for the whole truck.

Thanks everyone, this has been very helpful. I finally got the time to get it off the frame. I may not keep it space is a bit limited, but am curious, what would one of these go for?
