hello everyone, im new to the forum side of this site and would greatly appreciate some info on ford crankshaft casting numbers
im cleaning up some odds and ends in the garage and have a crankshaft with 7A4 cast on the lower throw of the crank and wcpgs on the top section of the crank anyone know what it belongs to? any help would be greatly appreciated
I just went and looked again there are no other numbers on the crank, i was expecting to see a 1ua or 2u type number as well but got the 7A4 instead. its too large to be a 302 or 289 so i believe its either a 351w H.O. crank or a 351C crank just not sure which (another reason to label in paint marker i guess) thanks very much for the help
has to be 351w then cuz ive got 2 351w cores apart and 2 351c cores apart the 400 currently resides in the 79 shortbed running condition. appreciate the help!
