how good is the oil pan and is the dipstick tube on the side4 of the pan or on the block?

 

How many miles were on this motor before tare down? And what was the reason? I'm asking b.c I'm interested I'm the rods/pistons By chance do you have the crank and is it good?

 

I have a set that was run for just a few thousand miles in a 429 block. Turned that 429 into a 521. I've got a 2Y crank already turned 10/10. Got it last year as part of a parts deal. $175 plus the ride for all these parts.
