Pap's Cruise Control

So I tried to do a search for my original post, but no luck. I finally got my cruise control fixed and it was a bad brake sensor. Thanks that it wasn't a wire issue in the steering. Loving life that this is the first problem I have had in 126k and towing like a fool. What an engine!! All hail the V-10, 6.8 from Ford!!

Nice to hear Pappy. Say, wanted to ask you about your 47 gal fuel tank? What, where and how as they say in the news biz . . .

I love the fact that I can go twice as far on a tank of gas. I should have done it years ago, but didn't think the initial cost was worth it. Now I guess the investment is a good one, especially since I can find a non-ethanol station and fill up. Of course, thinking of 47 gallons X $4.00/gallon is hard on the pocket book. Mine is a short bed and the long beds have a 52 gallon capacity. Some pipeline welders I know have the larger replacement tank AND the 100 gallon tank in the bed. They call it a "dragup" tank so once filled, they can get home from almost anywhere in the country and not have to fill up.

Just look here and you can find out the tank that fits your truck and who will install. There is also a youtube showing how to install yourself if so inclined.

Thanks Pappy, went to the site and they don't show a chassis replacement tank like yours for 2005. Guess yours fits 2008-2010. I wonder what the issue could be that would keep your tank from fitting my truck? We are identical except for year. Guess I'll call them. Thanks again.
