A little more progress

Got my nos ignition today and will get that mounted. I'm picking up a new battery tomorrow from napa. This one just won't hardly take a charge. Charging system seems to be functioning. I adjusted the float on the 94 to spec. Ken CT had a good idea to notch a square out of an old credit card to the height you need. Charley NY says 1 3/8 for my application I went a little shy of that. So I am past the flooding issue.
Eunice Stockton, widow of Murphy Stockton a charter member of our EFV8 club and the Lady I bought the truck from, passed away on Saturday. I'm hoping to have the truck ready to park up on a hill near the Chapel her service wil;l be held on this Friday. I sure won't have it cleaned up, but if I can get there it will mean something to somebody.

Stacy Brown at Antique Auto Supply has 9 warehouses of NOS parts. he had the ignition I needed. a bit pricier than mid-fifty. There is a nice article about him on the website.
I will a couple things about mid-fifty. They have great instructions and are very nice folks.

Rite on, I'm glad you found it, and thanks for passing on the vendors name. I think parking the truck by the POs service would be a nice thing to do.
