I'm curious, how many people are excited about the Tremor truck. I mean finally Ford is going to offer the EB in a regular cab short box configuration. And that's great. There have a few members on here that have been wishing for this for along time and that's cool. Heck on one hand I'm excited, but then on the other I'm disappointed. And I'll tell you why. They keep referring to the truck as a sport truck. And there lies the problem I have with it. I can't help but feel like it's not really a true sport truck. Just like the Junk a** 454ss and SilberadoSS from chumprolet. I feel like Ford in my opinion has what I feel yet again copied off of chebby. First time I felt this way was with 97 -03 150's and expy's. I thought they looked wayyyy to much like the 88-98 chebby's. And to make matters worse for those trucks Ford did away with they tried and true ttb/ twin Ibeam front suspensions and like Gm went to the A arm and torsion bar front suspensions. And now the are build the Tremor truck and calling it a sport truck when it's not. Just like the 454ss and SilberadoSS trucks weren't in my opinion true sport trucks. And by that I mean what is truly sporty and unique to Tremor truck that is any different than any other EB 150. Its the horsepower and torque rating as any other EB. The truck doesn't sit any lower. So other then the regular cab short bed what is different and sporty. Please tell what ya'll think and keep in mind that this is just my opinion. And to Ford don't get me wrong I like the truck, I really do, but I just wish you hadn't called it a sport truck. And for what it's worth I'm sorry if I offened anyone, I just felt like I had to get that off of my chest.
The whole term "sport truck" is an oxymoron to start with, so to claim that this half-assed attempt isn't a "true sport truck" is kinda funny. Trucks aren't sporty, they just aren't. This one will be the most sporty truck that ford has sold in a hell of a long time, so I have no problem with them marketing it as a sport truck.
The lightning was a true "sport truck" IMO. Lowered, SC V8, It had the looks to go fast and be able to handle corners. Also the Raptor is a "sport truck". Just a different type of sport.
As much as the Ecoboost V6 is being promoted, I still thing they should have stuffed the 5.0 with the Boss mustang tune in it. To hell with towing capacity...lower it, make sure the exhaust sounds nasty, and keep the price down around 32 grand.

That was that point I was trying to make when I started this thread. And I just feel like that is lacking with this truck. But don't get me wrong all in all I do like the tremor truck. I just don't think it is a "sport truck". Now if they were to add a sport tuned less restrictive exhaust, maybe lower the rife height 1", or add a beefier tune to the EB that's in it. Then I'd consider it a true sport truck.
my tremor rides good, runs good for what it is. but the suspension needs help
i.e shocks, sway bars. springs(maybe) but i may add/change those in the near future. i used helwig on my other trucks and it really helped, not in a straight line but the twisty stuff and i will probably upgrade to those items.
