4WD Shift Lever Needs Lengthening
My son installed a 3" body lift on his Bronco. He did a good job and everything has worked OK, but the 4WD shift now obstructs the boot. I assume it needs to be extended also.
Does anyone know of a "spacer link" that can be purchased to extend the shift lever length or do I need to custom fabricate a spacer?

your gonna need to take the shifter off the transfer case, and weld in a spacer piece thats makes up for the 3 inch body lift. Make sure you get a good weld, or it will snap right off when you go to engage 4wd

I was hoping for a purpose made adapter to avoid cutting/splicing the shift rod. However, I agree that is the best option. Attempting to fabricate a custom adapter extension would probably result in problems. I can always shorten the rod the same way, by cutting and rewelding.

Get in touch with Advance Adapters. They might have something like that or know who does. I am in Arlington, I could take a look at it and fab one that would be trouble free.
