The C6 was on Diesel from 1983-1991, all E4OD after 1991.
Although when the OD trans came out in 1989, very few of the diesels got the C6 after '89.
The C6 was produced till 1996 on gassers of all size though. Common on factory ordered company trucks.
i saw a 95 and a 96, both plain jane stripped F-350 work trucks with diesel, C6, 4X4 no AC , am radio. ordered from the factory at an auction. all the rest of the trucks were idi's and they all had C6's in them too.

So they put a C6 behind a Powerstroke? I wonder where you could get a TC and flex plate for that?
shouldn't be that hard i think. just drill the flex plate for the C-6 converter?
i did not pay much attention to them, we were looking for F450's.
i do know they were pretty rare.

That's what I was thinking. A friend and I have been talking about it, but we were wondering about the pilot. I'll just have to see what needs to be done when I get one in the shop. Thanks guys!
