I just had the proverbial carpet yanked out from under me on this. Not gonna make it...I have to be at work since the other supervisor is going out of town for family. If I have anything anyone needs, Woody is going to stop by and pick some things up. He can bring the generator, too...y'all will just need to provide fuel.

You will be able to drive it, but alignment will be all jacked up and you'll need to get an alignment done. Also, if you need tie rods, now would be the time since they'll have to be removed from the knuckles. I'm on my phone, was your truck 2wd or 4wd?

Hell, a 2wd will be gravy. I got the press, we'll just need an air compressor and a good 1/2" drive impact to press the ball joints. And if you got greasables, a grease gun.

I'll add the grease gun to my pile. I have an impact but it is a Lowe's ingersall rand one. I did the rear brakes already. They were bad and I drove to Austin yesterday.

I have an impact, air ratchet and a few other air tools. I need to get a better air compressor, but we can make due with what Chris and I have if necessary.

It's most definitely gravy...

Did them on mine in 2011, easy as pie once I got the hang of it. Just get you some Moog ball joints and we'll do the rest!

I got the moog.

So Toreador, 2 things.

First, your name isn't going to fit your truck anymore.
Second, you bringing the 7.3 or the 6.0?

Didn't even think about that, lol!

Gotta find a name to match the 6.0....

That being said, I'm not sure. May stretch the legs on the 6.0 since she'll be fresh out of the shop by then. We shall see though....excited for tech day either way!

I like the new avatar Tor. You can't change your handle though, it just wouldn't be the same.

Is it going to be that weekend, or on the 1st (Friday)? If it's on the either day of the weekend, I should be able to make it for a few hours... will have the kiddos with me though.

Have an 08+ rear diff cover and fluid change to do and shocks all around... plus whatever else I acquire before then.
