Hey guys I have a quick question never did much service myself on my 05 F250 6.0 Turbo , Heck I've not been able to drive it much since 07 when I was injured again But Today I changed the oil and fuel filters since the Drs said I could drive on a limited basis to see how I could cope..
I changed the oil filter core and filled the crankcase but I had a brain fart when adding the oil and over filled it by about 1/2 qt. just a hair over the Max mark, Not all that versed with diesels is this a big deal or should I allow it to blow out or remove some ? I used Shell Rotella T6 Synthetic SAE 5W-40 . I read lots of the post here and That seemed to be as good as any ? Motor has 41,780 on it now.. Just wanted to ask before running the truck at this oil level .. Thanks for any help.
