I am thinking of buying one of those tornado air intake modifier. But I am not sure if they work. I was told they work on smaller engines. I have a 3.0 L. Any response is welcome.

If something like that worked the automakers would have been putting them in cars 20 years ago to improve their CAFE numbers.

I was asking because the Tornado does basically the same thing as a Throttle body spacer. If in theory they do the same thing, Why does one work, the other doesn't?
