Hard starting
My daughters 1975 F100 has a 1980 302 motor in it. She bought the truck almost one year ago and at that time we had a local shop overnight soak and rebuild the carb. At the same time new plugs and points. The truck, from that point on, started as soon as the key was turned. About a month ago we had the heads rebuilt. The truck came back and again started as soon as she turned the key. About two weeks ago she noticed (after a huge day long rain storm which I don't think matters because the hood was on)that the truck take 4-5 seconds to start and she says sometimes it seem flooded and she has to hold the gas to the floor to start it. She has told me it is tough to start cold or hot. Any ideas? Choke, timing at distributer? Thanks
