Compressed Air Suspension System
I´ve adaptded hydraulic steering using parts from various makes/models (I admit that what mattered to me was effectability not necessarily keeping to ¨all original parts¨)Which works great. I also installed an air-cooled air compressor from a bigger Ford model. I have, for the time being, the air compressor only connected for air horn. Needless to say, it´s over-kill
so I usually only connect it when I require the use of pneumatic tools (incountry work) when working our little ´68 Caterpillar D4.Don´t get me worng, there are brand new cars and trucks to buy here (and tractors) but they´re just not made like they used to be.
My question is this: is it possible to adapt a system of air powered shock absorbers (like on tour busses) connecting to my existing compressed air system? Using something like Rancho´s 9700 adjustible shocks? How could it be done? I want to control/adjust ride form cabin.
Please help.
