here is some info on my heat/defrost and air kit from nap air. I still have to plumb it and finish installing duct and vents, will update when I finish.
the under dash unit goes in very easy with a few self tapping screws into the fire wall.
I don't know why the 2 pics show up as x's but click them to see the pics
I had some truble installing the compressor.
on the rear bracket I had to cut the welds and a 1/4 inch off to get the compressor to sit square with the pullys.
the front bracket sits to close to my vacumm advace pinching the line closed and leaving no room the be idler bolt. I ran the vac hose threw the idler bolt hole and drilled out the slot next to it for the idler. that makes the belt to big but a new belt will fix that.
the condenser and drier are preaty strait forward. just some self tapers takes care of them.
one thing I did read about the kits is the vents don't look right. I have a beat up gauge cluster from a factory ac truck to compare and I think they match up very close. only real difrence is the scrw holes
this one I installed you wouldn't be able to tell if it was factory or not and is the way a double vent gets installed on the other side of the glove box.
I had the a/c hose's crimped up yester day and finished up the vents a duct work. vacuumed the system out for and hour and charged it up. its blowing ice cold. I'll get one of those small thermometers to get an actual temp for you guys.
as of right now id say its a good kit. as some time goes by and i acualy get some miles on it il give you an update.
