not if you install at leas 18" of flex pipe under the truck.. straight cut will blow suet on the truck when you start it while raining.I use aussie cut and haven't had that problem
I cant seem to find a 48" Aussie cut.... What effect does 18" of flex pipe have?
The flex pipe has 2 reasons..
1 to let water seep out in a rain while setting
2 it keeps the exhaust from being regid.. It allows the exhaust to flex some
you have an excursion, what do you know about bed space?
Touche! Don't I know it, every time I need to haul something like a yard of mulch or whatever, I'm outta luck.
Ha...no offense intended to anyone with stacks. When I had a 6' bed truck, I always thought, "Man, even with a 8' bed I wouldn't want to lose any of the space!!!"
I have an 8 foot bed and 6 square inches isn't a big deal. My plan is eventually to have a tire mount in the bed. I know I lose space but I'm not doing much of anything with my bed. I have a tool box taking up over a foot now. I still managed to bring home 10foot chain link panels with no problem.
I definitely understand what you mean though man. I'm guessing your Excursion has a 7.3. How well does it perform? I have good and bad things on it.

Both of them have 7.3L PSD engines, and both perform VERY well. Especially with all of the modifications. "HIS" is currently running stock programming, but with all of the mods you would swear there was a chip in it. The BTS tranny will pull the chassis out from under another truck in a tug-of-war contest. I am exaggerating, of course, but my trucks have cajones.
