Hello,
I have a 2004 F-150 FX4 with a 5.4 and automatic trans. It has 210,000 miles on it. Body and interior are in excellent condition but the engine ticking, which has been there since day I bought it, is getting worse and trans is thunking. Maybe overdrive issue. I was thinking because truck still looks and drives very well that maybe I could replace the engine and/or trans with something with a little more horsepower, say 400. Any ideas as to where I could find a place interested in doing this for me? I live in Detroit area.
