Years ago I had one of the original wood Campbell day cruisers, it was a beautiful boat, had a big Chrysler in it. You don't know the meaning of constant work until you own a wood boat. They are beautiful but a pain in the butt to keep them looking good.

I watched a PBS TV program about boats like these, I believe it was filmed on Lake Tahoe, and was very inspirational. They are another one of those things that just make your jaw drop, and your mind start thinking of all the hours upon hours, of old world craftsmanship that goes' into these works of art.
