Good morning Vermonters and woodchuck wannabees. Rise and shine - it's Saturday. Got a little over 100 bales of hay loaded and into the barn last evening. Feels good to have it done but what a sweatshop last night. Muggy as the dickens and we timed it perfectly - skies opened up minutes after we finished loading the last bales into the barn. Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend.

Used to drive standards all the time but wife's ankle started to bother so converted to autos.. the explorer I plow with is a standard
That is a great way to burn calories LOL seriously if you need help I would love to.

 

Thanks Jim. I think we're done for this year. But I agree, haying is a great way to burn some calories and there is just something about getting hay up into the mow that can't be described to people who have never worked on a farm.
