I have the factory radio on a 04 mounty and i wanted to know how to hook up the aux cable. The radio is a 6 cd changer with the sat button. it also has the entertainment tv for the rear seats. So heres my problem...
I want to wire a aux cable for a ipod. I did some research and had a mix of answers. Is it possible to do this modification with the tv? It has the RCA cable but I do not want to burn an image to the lcd, or have a cable hanging. Is there a way to make it look factory? is there one from the factory? Any help will be helpful. It is a pain that i can't seem to figure out
Have you considered the Precision Interface Electronics or Logjam Electronics devices which are specifically designed for providing aux inputs? They are not an inexpensive solution, but depending on how "professional" you want the result to look, might be a better approach.
Also, have you read your audio system manual or owner's manual on how to use the Aux In feature of the rear seat entertainment system?

By professional I am just trying to accomplish this with out having a cable through a hole in the dash. I found a aux plug that gets mounted any where you want but my problem is hooking that to the radio. The car says the button is there but it does not state how it is used.
