Disk Brake Conversion
Hi out there, I have been searching high and low over the internet looking for a kit to convert my F250 4x4 drum brakes to disk. I have found companies that have kits but not for my truck. Does anyone here know where I might find a Kit for this? I am getting ready to travel the country pulling an 8000 lb., 32 foot trailer and i need more stopping power. Any assistance wouid be greatly appreciated.

You might try posting this under the appropriate model year F-Series forum above. Towing addicts are not always brake addicts. To me, drum rear brakes are better than rear disc brakes.

Thanks for your response. I did post my query on a few of the forums. I just recently got my trailer and became very nervous by the lack of stopping power of the existing drums. I really had to push hard when going downhill at a highway exit.
