Jeff see this?

1976 ford highboy

The HD kind you see in Lowe's and Sams club, cheap? I'll have to ask his prices.

Divorced xfer case, bug hub 44 or maybe a D60 up there? Rims are 16.5, so he can run the 36" HUMVEE take offs.

That is a nice truck! I was going to look at another truck yesterday, but the wouldn't answer the phone.

Im picking up another deck for my riding lawn mower later today. Hope to look at a truck near there as well.

WOW! That's a nice Highboy, Rich!

I'm pretty sure I would be beaten to death if I brought another truck home, though.

I gotta get outside and get back on this C-cab today. I want to get the rear suspension near done today.

Good morning all. I'm off to make sales calls. A buddy of mine called me yesterday about a shop but I don't think I'm ready for a shop in the city. Supposedly has a paint booth as well and it is tied to a used car stealership. Anybody got a divorced transfer case for sale? One of my friends is building a monster school bus and he needs that and would like a Dana 60 front(which I have discovered isn't as common as I once assumed). Have a great day you all.

Howdy all. Well its official - I'll be in charge of the school until Thanksgiving. That will make it nearly 2 years that I've been in charge. I wish I could believe it will be over with, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if there's not another delay.

I'm playing techie today. We got a cheap windows laptop for the youngest (only windows user in the family) and I've been working on setting it up with virus protection, updates, and software all morning. It's almost finished - just a couple more and I'll be ready to hand it over.

Hot out there digging post holes by hand (way to many buried power and phone lines to use a bobcat auger) in a residential area.

Will now go work in the shop for a while....maybe....??

Chip I have a D60 front axle and rear axle, but it is $1800 obo cause it comes with a 79 4x4 F250 super cab longbed (pretty rough cab and bed) with a swapped in 460 I have never heard run/paper work on the fresh rebuilt c-6 and a NP 205 and a title, still hooked to it.

Evening All!

I got a full set of brakes done this morning including pads, rotors and calipers on a Grand Am. I decided to do some repair work at my "shop" when I feel like it.

I got busy with the C cab today. I finally used my milling machine to make some bosses for the rear ladder bars. Let me say this, ....there is a HUGE difference between DRILLING holes, and MACHINING holes into steel. I worked all day and it doesn't look like I did much. I got the factory spring perches and shock mounts cleaned off the rear and LOTS of measuring and marking done for the new suspension.

I have to make the rear spring perches, shock mounts and track arm mounts for the rear. Then I can bolt the chassis together and roll it around. I MAY have the chassis at the new shop on Monday. That's the plan, anyway.

Family time at S.D.C. tomorrow, so no shop time.

Thanks y'all. RC please pm me your price and I'll let him know. Turns out the D60 is for a buddy of his. I stopped at Yungs yesterday, Don is a hellofa young character at 74 and man what a collection of Ford trucks in the yard, newest is an 84. His toy is a 72 F250, his son has a Bigfoot blue 78 w 79 headlights big block shortbed and his wife has I'm not sure what year big block longbed. All are awesome looking trucks. I fell in lust with an orange early Bronco on 38's I'm guessing. I'm going to leave early enough one day to stop for a while there
