Uh its not all that....lol his wife and him are my moms neighbors, so I have met him before.

He wondered where Penny and I live and asked his wife and my mom to take out to my house. He is 86 and is recovering from cancer and does not get out much, but sure has some "on the road with Mel Tillis stories" for sure.

Today I went over to my moms to ck on her and ended up hanging a garden hose bracket on his front porch for him. Then ended up shooting the breeze with him on my mom's porch for a bit.

Ford note, I got the cab short chrome pieces, well actually 4 to choose from. And am going to go out and wrestle the radius arm hanger off the rearender bronco for you Alan.

Good Morning Everybody!

I guess Rich is already southbound or close to it. I'm really excited to get the grill stuff in and take a "done" picture of ole' red.

Rich will get to ride in Ka'Bluey for the first time today! We're gonna go over and get the keys to the new shop today and look around. It's nothing special, just four walls and a ratty bathroom in the corner. ......but it's a shop NOT at my house!

Good morning everybody, the Bronco starts and runs really smooth. Next step is the brakes and then we start stripping it in preparation for paint.

We finally made it home. We got some new bedroom furniture for the girls this evening. Whew! I'm done spending money for a while.

Rich. I'm glad you like Ole' Red and got to see the new place. I'm gonna start moving in the evenings and do more this weekend. I have to finish welding up the C-cab rear suspension before I move it over there, which means I can't move a bunch of stuff until the C-cab goes over.

I guess I better get off my butt and get working.

Good Morning Everybody!

RC. I may just let you know on some of that stuff. Right now I have to get the C-cab rolling first.

I think I'm gonna like having a place I can actually set up shop and not have to move it all back inside at the end of the day. The first things I plan on doing are getting the C-cab rolling, then building shelves for parts to keep everything out of my way, ....THEN I can start moving things in.

I have to go to my "job" today, but I plan on dropping some stuff off at lunch. There's lots of parts in Ka'Bluey that need to be put up before they get destroyed bouncing around the bed.

Remember my bro in law has tons of the HD shelving for sale cheap..... and you can haul it back down with my trailer, if you need to come borrow it.

And stop by the pallet place in Spg and load up on them since you are passing by.

Morning to all, I about passed out in the am heat setting cut off telephone poles as gate/fence posts.

Well, I'm off until Tuesday. I hope to get the chassis rolling by then. Then I can start moving stuff over to the shop. I should be working, but my back is killing me from rolling around on the concrete at work today. We got a 2005 F150 in that some nudnick sank in some water. (auction vehicle) It was only submerged up the bottom of the dash, so all the important stuff was ok. I put a new starter in it and replaced a couple relays and we were driving it. The bad thing is, even though the truck is straight as arrow with perfect paint, runs perfectly, everything works as it should, it came with a junk title. NOT a salvage title, mind you, a JUNK title. No matter how good it runs, it can never be titled again. ....so it will be parted out to fix two other trucks that we bought. At least we know the engine runs great and the 4WD works. It's a shame, really.
