78 351M question
I just bought another dent side that's in Excellent shape for a Great price but it has issues, this one has Sit for 2 years after the 351 Modified was rebuilt withought a drop of oil which worrys me and Never started, the guy told me that the Mechanic he had putting the engine in was not able to Finish it for some reason so the truck just sit there in a garage, I took it home put oil in it and new filter and filled it up with oil first and pulled the plugs and (Please correct me if I was wrong to do so) put Automatic transmission fluid down the plug holes, so it could lobe it up, I left the plugs out to turn it over to get rid of the tranny Fluid, the engine turned over slow, I thought that was Odd because the battery was fine so I thought maybe the starter was shot, I put new one on, still no change I'm worried that the Bearings are Seizing up. Yeah I'm over my head on this one, probably should had someone who knows what there doing get her running but I'm always trying to teach myself lol, any thoughts?
