Piney's Rebuild
As for too much power, I know what you mean. The expectation is for my torque to be 550 and the HO to be north of 500. How do you put that to the ground?
I have a few issues I need to fix - mainly the radio, replacement dash doesn't fit quite right on the drivers side as well as some general R&R on drive train parts, dash bezels (paint mainly), etc. I will work on the rest of it over the winter - I have three months of good weather left before she goes into hibernation so I wanted to get some miles on it.
The truck drives awesome and it runs really well. I was figuring the truck would be real squirrely on the road but I would guess with the transmission and tires it stays planted fairly well. I will post more pictures or provide more details if anyone is interested.

Now that I have the truck on the road I am really surprised at the number of people that stop and ask questions, do double takes, etc - you would think I was driving a Ferrari or something.

I will upload some videos in the near future - the exhaust note on the truck is spectacular. A long duration cam with quite a bit of overlap makes for some really nice music. Of course 3" true duals helps that a lot.

Have a great day!

...and I am glad I did. That is one F-I-N-E looking machine you have there, Chief! I absolutely LOVE the color you chose. I love the classic, strong look of this generation and your truck is a VERY nice example of how tough these trucks can look. Thanks for keeping another Bullnose on the road!
When do we get that video?
Thanks again.
