302 won't start :/
Hey all been a reader for several years now for several of my dent trucks n picked up a 88 for work n finally got a question i can't find an answer for so ill try make it short n sweet. its an 88 f150 with a dead stock 302 efi. bout a week ago she started fine n i let it sit n warm up a bit as usual n bout the time the choke would kick off she up n quit, wont start again. replaced icu on the dist, cap/rotor, plugs to no avail. even retimed it. the closest shell come to starting is if i retard the timing to where the dist wont move any further and hold the pedal wide open n ill get a low idle lope that dont last long. dont have a pressure tester n aint got to pick up a multimeter yet but figured id see if anyone else has had a similar issue. got spark, n def got fuel. good pressure as far as i can tell. pulled codes n it gives 2 egr codes n popped up w one tps that went away when i tried double checking it. autozone says they think its the ecm but id rather not dump too much money into it if i dont have to. any help?
