Nice find, I could use an F250 parts truck for myself. I got a deal on a '78 2wd inline-6 that ran for $500. After parting it all out I made over double what I paid for it and that doesn't include all of the free parts I got off of it for my resortaion project. Gotta always keep your eyes open for deals like these.

Yes some folks are not to savvy with the English language, lol. I think that's why it is a 500 dollar truck or it is a wore out parts truck.

the PO told me AFTER I bought it that the oil pressure would "sometimes" work! I though aw crap..what did I just get into! So before I spend any money on this thing I want to hear it run and check oil pressure.
So last night I went to Orielly's and bought a CHEAP mechanical oil pressure gauge( PO was right...the factory gauge would barely read!) Hooked it all up this morning and fired 'er off....55lbs oil pressure! le it get good and hot(up to temp) and at idle hot it has 35psi!,so I am going to go get a Stewart Warner gauge to match the rest of the ones I already have. I will run a "T" fitting and use both,the SW and the factory gauges. What a relief!

Nice score! Some people get all the luck finding rust free trucks out west and down south. I couldn't believe the condition of some trucks when i was in Arizona. If you come back to Southern Illinois I'll be sure to make you a list of all parts I need! Sounds like Keith is going to do the same!
