fuel gauge problem
ok i have a 1989 f250 4x4. it has a dual tank setup. the rear tank has never read right since i got the truck, but now the front tank doesn't read correctly. when i say it doesn't read correctly the gauge will wave from one postion to another. even when the truck is not moving it will wave from one postion to another and sometimes the gauge will just stay above full and not move at all. does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this. i was thinking about just replacing both the gauges in the tanks but figured i would check to see if it could be something else.
