i tried searching the site and forum posts and cant find a answer. i have a 71 f250 and im trying to find fuse layout, function, size, amp, etc... basically a diagram of box with description of each fuse. as well as the amp and size i need. that way i can buy some online. no one in my city carries them anymore.
You asked this same question back in February 2013 and the info was provided.

Got to this page, go to "Fords shop tips 1971". After you download the PDF file, you can see on the 3rd page(bottom) the listing for circuit protection. It doesn't show the actual fuse box, but just lists what each is for and what size fuse.
i forgot, lost all my book marks in a gliched updated. ty though
Truck owners manual lists all the fuses, their industry numbers and locations. Since you don't have it, try faxonautolit.com for a user.
Ford truck parts catalogs beginning in 1973 list same info as owners manuals, but not prior to 1973. Only lists the fuses and industry numbers.
Must be your weekend to ask about fuses, you asked about Excursion fuses yesterday. You can get a new...genuine Ford Excursion owners manual from helminc.com
